We fully admit that we’ve edited these mangosteen juice testimonials, making some very minor alterations but never manipulating them to convey anything other than what they intended to be. These changes have consisted of:
-
Punctuation. We’ve deleted numerous semi colons, commas & full stops that were definitely in the wrong places and placed them in the right places or at least, better places
-
Spelling. Correct spelling makes for easier readdingks
-
Bullet points. We’ve turned many paragraphs of lists e.g. of diseases or prescribed drugs, into bullet points to prevent reader fatigue
-
Aesthetics. We’ve deleted thousands of CAPITALS and exclamation marks!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
At times, we’ve reworked paragraph structures to create a logical time structure, so a reader could understand better what the writer was trying to convey. In doing so, we’ve sometimes had to edit the text
-
Occasionally we’ve deleted one or more sentences/paragraphs for irrelevance and/or incoherence etc.
-
And very occasionally we’ve excised trivia that wasn’t pertinent
Probably more than 90% of the changes we’ve made have been telegraphed to the reader by placing our new words [in these parentheses].
We feel that we have done no more than any decent newspaper proofreader and feel no remorse in our actions.
