Thalassemia testimonial # 1
Ruth’s claims that her Thalassemia just, well, stopped being a problem, at some unspecified time after she started using mangosteen juice.
I [started using] mangosteen juice mainly for prevention, as I had no medical conditions that were of a life-threatening nature. Having said that, I usually had trouble falling asleep, however that was more of a nuisance than anything. I also suffer from minor Thalassemia. What that means is my red blood cells are less than they should be so I would sometimes tire easily.
In June of 2003, while on a cruise, I had this mysterious swelling in my left leg and ankle and it really affected my trip, as I could only be on my feet for short periods of time. Upon returning, I went to see my primary care physician who in turn sent me to a specialist. After a series of tests, I was told that I had reflux in my saphenous veins. In layman’s terms, my blood was attempting to travel the same path that it came from thereby causing swelling and inflammation. I was told that the only option was medication to deal with the swelling and inflammation until it got bad enough to warrant surgery. I opted for no medication and simply dealt with it. I was thankful that the swelling lessened when the weather was cooler.
During the summer of 2004, I suffered yet again. [Then] I started using mangosteen juice in September of 2004.
I made it through the summer of 2005 with no incidences of swelling [and] in November of 2005 while on a flight to Utah, my husband, realized that I hadn’t complained about the swelling in my leg and ankle since starting on the juice. In thinking back, I realized that he was correct.
There is no doubt in my mind that mangosteen juice is responsible for where I am today. I am consistently asleep inside of 5 minutes and do not waken randomly during the night. I do not tire easily anymore and as added benefit, I do not get the occasional upper respiratory tract infections and colds that use to occur in the winter.
I highly recommend this juice to those with health challenges great or small as well as those who consider themselves healthy and are striving to remain so.
Why not try it? You might just fall in love with it.
